Short order cook in BROADBEACH, Queensland

Pancakes on the Rocks – Mermaid Beach is looking for an experienced short order cook to join our team!
With six locations in Sydney and now one on the Gold Coast, our company’s success is due to a strong principal goal to consider the customer throughout all stages of their dining experience. We are now seeking an individual who both shares our passion for hospitality and strives for personal growth in this field.
We are looking for an applicant who is:
An efficient worker with a strong focus on time management,
Understands the value of hard work in a team environment,
Self-motivated with a strong interest in personal and professional growth,
Has a good understanding of food safety,
Reliable, hardworking, and the ability to work well under pressure,
Must be available to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Food preparation and stock rotation,
Cooking and presentation of meals,
Kitchen sanitation and general cleaning
Our full menu is available all day and night. We have a set menu with no specials, so you will be required to maintain a consistent presentation of meals to meet company standards at all times. This is a part time position offering 15-20hrs per week. More hours may be available over school holidays and peak periods. There are opportunities in career development for the right person.
