My gorgeous Fernandes "The Function" Stratocaster. Made in Japan (Fuji-gen Gakki) factory 1983. In near MINT condition, this guitar is one of the nicest strat copies to come out of Japan. This guitar's build and play/sound quality is better than most "Fender" strats of today and many of yesterday!! Do your research on these guitars.. there is plenty out there, they are only ever spoken of in high regard, by those who have played and own one. They are "sleeper" guitars, collectable and sort after.. especially in this condition, near mint! The last of the original small fender headstocks of the early eighties Fender strats before Fender threatened these Japanese craftsmen of a pending law suit should they continue using "Leo's" specs crafting these awesome guitars. All i can say is, come take a look, have a play, and i promise you, you will NOT be dissapointed! Research folks.. Research is the key! Many, many fantastic instruments out there out of Japan and they are leagues ahead of commercial mass produced guitars from commercial well know manufacturers. Know your stuff, then make your choices.Its ALL about the feel, tone, quality of instruments.. not always where they were made. Cheers
